Magazine ad for the new Burger Bar by Chef Allen. This ad was made prior to the opening of Burger Bar in West Palm Beach. The Bar was looking for solid branding but also looking for teaser ads, yet no product shots or venue photos were available. Using the idea that the decor was to be retro diner meets antique, as well as a high-end burger joint but still a welcome one, this was my creation of the way to say a “burger bar unlike any other,” toppling with energy and the appropriate feel of the Bar to come. Augur Milling Company. Designed for a maize milling company in Malawi, Africa, I decided to keep a rustic and African look to the font while representing the company’s professionalism in the elegant design. The maize miller in Malawi, is where women are often seen carrying milled corn upon their heads. Just in case you ask just what is in those baskets above their heads, I drew a representation of the corn which marries all elements together. This logo was done in a charitable, voluntary effort.

This sleek and classy yet modern brochure emulates the estate-living lifestyle on large acre homesites located in this very upscale small town just outside New York City. Library Commons Community direct mailer. I designed this clean direct mailer to sell an upscale resort-style lifestyle, just a few miles from the beach, to a mature crowd about ages 40+ for Lennar Homes.

Library Commons Community direct mailer. I designed this clean direct mailer to sell an upscale resort-style lifestyle, just a few miles from the beach, to a mature crowd about ages 40+ for Lennar Homes.

“The City” Wall Art and personal project, selected squares. This is a personal project of verses of a self-written poem designed into 32, 5”x5” squares that I backed onto hard board. The project is meant to appear on a white or red wall of my advertising agency (when I own one!) and to be a flowing poem through wall art, but also to look as though each was designed by a separate artist. As a personal project, I wanted to design each square differently to let out a variety of thoughts and concepts. It was almost as if I pretended that every square my “boss” hated, so I had to design a completely different one next! I also had thoughts for these to be coasters or napkins. This was a fun project for me to let out my desires to be free and play with type. I also won an Excellence in Typography award from the Art Directors Club of New Jersey for this piece.

Event flyer for Tokyo Blue ladies night. This flyer was for an upscale restaurant with renowned chefs from former South Florida sushi restaurant legends. Tokyo Blue turns into an exotic nightclub at night. The attitude is upscale and posh, the food is decadent and the ladies get pampered with gift certificates, Swarovski crystals and perhaps a diamond! I brought all these posh yet fun ladies night ideas into the creative as well as captured the natural elements of Japan by using leaves on the woman’s skin.
